When I was 17, I struck up a conversation with a guy in his mid-late 20s on the bus. I looked older, I was tall, and we live in a college town. We happened to get off at the same stop, and we continued to talk. After a while, it became clear that we lived in the same apartment building, and as we approached, he asked me out for a drink. I told him I was 17 and he went "oh, shit" and then RAN to his unit. His reaction to my age was an immediate no. Easy peasy.

It's kinda funny (and I'm being sarcastic here, there's nothing funny about this situation) is that Tana is EXACTLY the type of victims sexual predators love to prey upon. She was/is problematic and unlikable; has a history of lying; and may also be somewhat promiscuous (based on her own telling of sexual experiences). Sexual Predators chose problematic victims because they knew these victims might not be believed if they ever came out. And we're seeing the proof of that in real time.

It beyond frustrating that when women were addressing this situation (Tana, Gabby, etc.) it was considered “drama” and largely swept under the rug. But once individuals who aren’t women started to address this, it’s now a trending topic worth the both public’s attention and consideration. I’m glad more people are becoming aware of this situation thanks to creators like you, but damn it’s disappointing nobody listened for years leading up to this.

The people who keep commenting saying that "17 is just a number" or "17 and 18 are basically the same thing it's not that bad" are most likely 17 and similarly to Tana at that time just brushing it off like no big deal until they actually have some real-world knowledge and are mature enough to understand the real seriousness of the situation

Seriously thank you for not being scared to call out a bigger YouTuber and also call out the issue within the commentary community (it’s been disappointing to not see responses from kurtis, Danny, or drew since they are so connected to Cody)
