As cool as a slide would be, even if just for aesthetic, you’re going to regret not having a closet lol I know the clothes are tiny but you’ll have a lot of them and your baby will continuously outgrow them and you’ll have a hard time getting rid of all of the old ones and you’ll want to keep some. so if you got some bins and had a closet to put them in, it definitely helps my Nursery did not have a closet and I seriously regretted not figuring that part out first. Lol.

When my son got older, we bought a bunk bed with a slide. So it gives him more open floor space and he gets a slide. He loves it

lol yeah the clothes don’t take up a ton of space, but all the other baby stuff you have to store (pack and play, boxes of diapers/wipes, etc.) do. Plus, they go through clothes sizes so fast that you’ll want extra room for their next size up, and for old clothes until you have time to get rid of them.

Honestly, specially in LA. Baby can be in diapers at home and cuddled in a light baby blanket almost year round except winter.

After the first 3 months you start to realize that baby really doesn’t need that many stuff.

My kids lived on my chest in the baby wraps for the first 4 months of their lives.

The crib was hardly used. No binkies, or cute bows or anything all of my girls hated them. I reused a lot of the clothes, bibz, sleeping pads and toys because they hardly use anything.

I really want to be on Cody’s side here but I think he’s underestimating the amount of clothes babies have. They grow out of them so fast and sometimes they need more than one outfit in a day.
