even if tana "consented", it is still statutory rape. she wasnt able to consent with someone as old as him. rape cases are also very hard to get strong evidence for, unlike something like grooming.

I was on one of his recent videos and someone laid out the gist of what has happened recently, I went to comment on that comment to ask what they were referring to and it had already been deleted, in less then a minute. I saw someone else had made some kind of suggestive comment so I asked for them to inform me, they responded and after I went to go see their answer, it had been deleted. Literally in moments. I'm a huge fan of Cody Ko but I was there where comments and others comments were actively being deleted and it was weird.

A note i found important: Cody Ko can not be put in jail for this, because it's beyond the statute of limitations (3 years for statutory rape in Florida). He is not in danger of being arrested or getting jail time for it.

Legal? Sure. Creepy af? YES. She was a teenager and he was 25. Not to mention she was a teenage FAN so it would have been very easy for Cody to take advantage. Legal doesnt mean its moral.

Just started rewatching Cody Ko right before this situation first resurfaced this year but stopped watching, unfollowed and ignored his contents soon after I found out about it. It's that easy to acknowledge a content creator you used to like and respect turns out to be an awful person.

I unfortunately wasn't aware of his questionable friendship with a supposed predator until D'Angelo shed a light on it.
