Shane's my favorite bachelor, I think he has the best storyline. I enjoy seeing him grow and change as a person. Like, trying to get sober and repair his relationship with Jas. My gripe (and almost everyone's else) is his room. Not that its messy, that fine! It's the beer cans in the room. Post marriage, he's supposed to be sober so it doesn't really make sense 🤷‍♀️

I feel that some people that dislike his room and behavior haven't lived with or with someone who suffers from chronic depression or addiction :(

I've been in Shane's place and I can tell it doesn't go away completely or at all you get better sure but there's always ups and downs. My room was inhabitable for quite some time, I try to tidy up but the fatigue you feel sometimes keeps you from doing basic chores. You have to prioritize things in a way that can be hard to understand from people on the outside.

I'm just ranting because I feel so much compassion towards Shane, I wish people could see this part too!

it really is a shame that he keeps the joja jacket even after the joja company goes out of town, and his spouse room is also a major gripe that I also have.. figures.. maybe some day concernedape will give shane some love. his theme song is also the best one imo!

I really wish they'd let us change the spouse's room. Shane's not a bad husband if you can see past the doom and gloom. I just give him a beer every day and ignore it, lol. But his room is atrocious!!!

Why go through all the complications of making him pizza from scratch or buying it, when he is delighted with hot peppers as a gift? Once you get a keg, beer is super easy to make as well (although personally if I liked him, I wouldn't want to encourage his alcoholism). Good to know though that he likes fruit.

I somehow was able to skip the cliff scene, the game scene, and the blue chickens scene before I married him. As soon as it rained the day after we got married I decided to see everyone at his old house and it triggered the scene on the cliff. The game did me so dirty I thought I could skip it for good😭✋

I have not chosen him as a hubby just because I hate Joja lol but his storyline isn't the only dark, serious one though, all of the bachelors and bachelorettes suffer from some sort of inner demon or family issues, it also deals (very under the rug) with possible infidelity, domestic abuse, secret love affairs, even child neglect, but the player has to play thoroughly to notice all that
