Special thanks to the channel supporters!

Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

TINT DEPOT is the e-commerce store to visit for your premium window film products. We strive to provide superior customer service, along with premium tint,so that our customers know they can always count on us. Call us at 979-637-8223.

There are many helpful apps and tools available, but most software out there are not designed to tackle the specific workflow and challenges that present themselves to tinters. Tint Wiz™ is a CRM app designed specifically for window tint companies. Book appointments, create proposals, send invoices, schedule jobs, manage tasks, and more.

Glass Aid is a 10 mil thick protective cut resistant strip that is meant to protect the glass from your knife. It’s white color make it easy to see through even the darkest of films. It’s flexible construction allows it to easily be formed around corners and it is heat resistant so it won’t melt during shrinking. Glass Aid is also designed to remove cleanly so you don’t have to worry about leaving adhesive behind when you remove it. This product is perfect for beginners and pros alike!

This is why I pay someone to tint all my vehicles. Its a skill and an art. Well worth the price that they charge and its done right!

working the air and water out from the middle seems to be one of the most important parts of getting a nice clean install. I recall, one time last year, you said on one of your live streams that working the air out to the sides when doing a glass with the defroster lines is best in getting all the air pockets out.
Also, for me and my big hands, I prefer the "Stroke Doctor". I used it on my windshield. It was just easier to do because of my size.
Great how to, Matt. Thanks for showing and explaining the process. Always thankful for having learned to tint windows from you. You make it very mechanical for the most part. Repetition is what did it for me. It took me at least 3 times to get the windshield shrinking process down. I think one of the things I noticed that helped me was when I used the dryer sheet, I went over the windshield with 2 dryer sheets. I found it very helpful.
Thanks again, Matt!

I always use a titan. It is long and thin but works great for getting a lot of water out

Love your videos! Would the green fin work to get behind third break lights? I’ve have problems with the new accords being super tight to get even pressure

Question: have you ever seen defroster lines in the back that can cause the foil not to stick ? I have lines of air there and they claim the defroster lines are too thick (2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and nano ceramic tint). Previous (some "3M" tint) was sticking just fine.

Do any installers ever protect the interior from water? Every video I've seen they are splishing and splashing and pouring water all over the place and running it from the squeegee into spots that will run down into pockets that will remain wet and stink after a while, have you guys seen an installer that covers anything up.

You make great videos! Im an amateur tinter. I've done about 15 vehicles, but all with Black magic & Gila films. I just did my first windows with a little higher quality carbon tint from Tint depot... my biggest problem is im use to those low quality films that have far less adhesion. Im having trouble finding the right slip solution ratio for the more aggresive adhesive on the tint depot film. It tacks up too quick, not giving me enough time to slide the film around on the glass. I use j&j baby shampoo & was told to add a few drops of dawn. Ive even over used shampoo & dawn but still seems to tacks too fast. Any suggestions? Im in south texas where an 80 degree day is on the "Cold" side.😂
