I bought a kit that was already pre cut for my car. Did all the prep work perfectly. Spent two weeks trying. And eventually took my car into the tint shop because I was gonna shoot out my windows if I messed up again.

I've installed my own precut tint and it really wasn't difficult but it did take me a lot longer than expected lol cuz I've never done it before but it turned out looking great ! My advice is to make sure the water in the spray bottle is soapy enough !! If it's not it's pointless .. good luck !!

I tinted my whole truck by myself and never messed up once. Just take your time and be cautious. Don't rush it

With all due respect, the easiest way is to take it to a reputable shop. It's so easy I just drop it off, wait, pay and drive away. So easy 😂
Edit: the guy is right, the video shows the easiest way to learn. I'm being a smartass about the easiest way to get it done.

Hi. Mechanic here. No. Door cards just dont fall off. After you remove the screws hidden behind the trim pieces you have to over come the will of god thats left holding it on.

My local shop does it for $100 whole car and the product is amazing. 4 years and never had a problem with it. No creases/no peels and they don’t take all that off.

At this point after removing the window seal and door panel it is easier to remove your door and take it to your bathroom so the soapy water drains down the tub once you squidgy the tint, you're closer to the kitchen to get a drink mid way the process and take a nap while they dry up and you ready to re assemble door 👍

I did mine myself! Even shrunk the rear glass almost perfectly, there’s one crease about the size of a finger nail clipping but it isn’t noticeable and is in the dot matrix anyway.
This was my second car so my second try, but just order 2 sets and you’ll be good. I actually really enjoy doing tint now
