Was going to get my 2011 S40 windows tinted, figured it was about time to do so, and got a quote of $180. Neglected to get the job done, so a year later the wife was going to get them tinted for me for Christmas. Went somewhere that quoted her $500. Luckily she's smarter than that.

I have been tinting for a while but I have watched a bunch of this dudes videos and learned a bunch, now I snap shrink instead of before where I just would do a basic shrink all the fingers one at a time... I have never had anyone complain about me snap shrinking, so it seems like the best method imo.

When I was doing my own tint with the black magic kit I got those bondo scrapers and those really helped squeegee the tint behind the seal

I know I know more then most but look into removing the panel, and detach the window from the regulator. Tint the window outside the car for a perfect tint. Anyone can do it

I removed my door panels and the seals when I did mine. This guy is a straight professional.

Just remove the seal. It’s clipped in, quick and easy. That way you prevent issues from arising.
Been tinting auto and commercial glass for 15 years. Hope it helped.

Are the bubbles also liquid from the spray? Does that just drip inside the car door? Where does it go? What’s in the spray?
