I haven't seen the ending to this game, but it reminds me of the dialogue that happens if you kill Ocelot with a granade the first time you see him in Snake Eater.

I encountered the same "maybe you're not the big boss we hoped for after all" with Kaz after failing the mission where you're supposed to save the two mother base staff who where kidnapped 😆😆 I felt real bad afterwards
