I love Kojima's cinematic eye. That shot of Liquid Ocelot with the chopper ascending behind him is so bad ass. And the shot of Metal Gear Ray's slow motion dive into the ocean is breathtaking.

Ocelot is the greatest villain/antihero of the Saga. He has all the traits of the villain, but in the end his purposes are noble, somehow. And he's been loyal to Big Boss his whole life. Also in the end he knows his faith and his purpose was to play his role, to let Snake be the one to end it all the mess that The Patriots created. And his sad expression at the end of chapter 3 (MGS4) when he sees Eva dying says everything about this wonderful character. He carried on his shoulders a big burden too, just like Snake

I mean if it wasn't for Ocelot, Snake wouldn't of been able to create Outer Heaven in Zanzibar Land and so on. Ocelot was always loyal to Snake. Even while he was undercover in MGS3 he had Snake's back.

Adam always was and always will be John's best, truest, and most loyal friend. Fifty years, from '64 to '14, no one was more loyal to John than Adam was. Easily my two favorite characters in the entire franchise.

Edit: All the folks trying to correct me that John's name is Jack clearly didn't get to the end of MGS3.

I'm sure it was Ocelot who recovered Big Boss's body after the fight with Snake in Zanzibar (Tselinoyarsk) 1999 and saw no alternative but to hand it over to Zero, who would know how to keep him alive even if he was brain dead. I can imagine the pain he felt knowing that he would probably never see him again.

Especially since Ocelot is the reason the Patriot's were ultimately taken down. Seriously by the time of Rising Revengance he should have been held as a hero along with Solid Snake.

My absolute favorite character in the MGS franchise. That line: "Stopped you? What would I want to do that?" in MGS4's Act 5 finale still give me shivers to this day... his delivery... you realize right there he got everyone by the balls.
