When I first found the Heart of Liberty City it was very creepy and bizarre. Actually, because of it's atmosphere, GTAIV is a very creepy game itself.

The dude on the meat hook was very intentional and not really hidden, it was to convey how unfeeling and ruthless the Mafia was in the game

I remember luring a friend once to that abandoned mineshaft, saying to him that Gta online had a hidden clown update. We went in and separate on the two ways route. Then quickly switching to a clown outfit and started chasing him, which i got immediately gunned down by while he was genuinely screaming for dear life until he realises it was me.

The Ghost Car in SA isn't really intended to be a ghost car or anything. It's essentially a bug/oversight. They're meant to be abandoned cars in the woods, but the problem is they spawn on the side of a hill, which causes them to roll down the hill, giving the appearance of a ghost car, but it's not.

GTA 4 with Liberty's beating heart obviously takes the cake for this one man. I had nightmares about human hearts when I was younger.

In Vice City there’s a mini-cemetery with a skeleton in one of the dig site and there’s a meat shop called “Carnicero Romero” where you can zoom in on the meats and see they’re displaying human organs - it’s a reference to George A. Romero :)

7:17 if you go on the other side you gonna find a few people camping there at night, they are hostile and will attack you on sight and they can be killed by 1 punch, if you kill them the cops will come and if you go too far they will respawn but if you manage to get rid of them without getting the police on you then if you wait until the ghost comes (between 23:00-3:00) you gonna hear female screams like if someone fell down a cliff/mountainside

I'm being nerdy a little, but the "Ghost Cars" always reappear at the top of the slope and go down on their own due to the simplest inertia and unmounted handbrake. Nothing really mysterious or creepy about this. And, as far as I suppose, they're meant to be rusty, not irreparably damaged.

The body in the mineshaft in 5 is really interesting to me as a mortician, as the signs point to the body being there maybe two weeks tops due to how it has deteriorated.

I still remember as a kid in GTA: SA I spend hours flying from the wheelchair to a mass grave in desert, as there was a Ubran Story about Leatherface there under certain weather.
Never seen him, but that was years before Wiki pages... Still not sure if it is true or not, never tried to find out as it was very creepy and fun
