None of these 10 are really creepy, interesting yes. There were no battleships sunk at Truk. There were none present during Operation Hailstone. Warships yes but no battleships.

It amazes me just how mysterious the ocean is. We took man to the moon all the way back in the 60s, yet our modern technology still can't properly discover whats under all this water.

Honestly the most offputting wreck underwater is the wreck of the mv goya. Over 6, 000 lives were lost on this german refugee/military transport ship on april 16, 1945, when it was torpedoed by a russian submarine, broke in half, and sunk in only 4-8 minutes. Only 183 people survived. What makes it so eerie is that there are still human remains down there, which makes it all the more haunting to know that many went down with the ship while in their sleep.
