While living in Hawaii In the late 60s early 70s; I was free dining over a reef and found
a small God Statue. I gave it to the Museum in Honolulu. They told me it was a great find. I was 12 years old at the time.

I heard of some boys finding around a hundred concrete blocks in Lake Michigan, near Chicago. They brought one to shore only to find the horrifying discovery that each block had the skeletal remains of two human feet. Someone later told me the block were from the time of Prohibition. Still really creepy though.

I think that you mean mortar bombs or projectiles. The mortar itself is just a hollow tube and harmless unless you drop it on your foot.
