Knee Joint Line Effusion Special Test

Показать описание
There's a really easy way to check for swelling or effusion of the knee.

Start by running your hand up the medial side of the knee. It's really easy to find the joint line on the medial side.

Once you find the joint line, compress the area as if you were pushing the swelling back into the joint. Next, take your other hand and push from the lateral side.

If someone has joint effusion, you can often see the swelling being pushed medially and laterally with this test.

After soccer match or hard workout, I can move the fluid inside my knee pushing with my hands from side to side. Funny but a little scary.
