PS4 Controller Won't Connect - How to Fix

In this video, I show how to fix your PS4 when your PS4 controller won't connect. It is very simple and takes a few steps. Hold down the power button when it is on, until you hear TWO beeps. Wait until the lights are off, then take out the power cable on the back of your PS4. This will hard reset your system, and take all the current out of the system. This fixes many issues and glitches. Plug it back in, try your controller to turn it on and it should work.

Dude, thanks so much. I tried literally every method I could find on YouTube, Reddit, and even Sony’s advice and none of it worked. Who knew simply resetting it would work.

If this happens to you after you connected your PS4 remote to your Andriod or iPhone device do/make sure of the following:

1st try using a different charger (after connecting to a new device your PS4 remote doesn’t recognize the charger sometimes)


and/or


Disconnect your PS4 remote from all devices you used it for (iPad, Tablet, Android phones, iPhones, Computers, etc.) this is most likely the cause of the problem opposed to the 1st solution.
