the bus is pci-e

pci-e nvme means the communication happens using nvme protocol on the pci-e bus

pci-e sata means the communication happends using sata protocol on the pci-e bus

its the controller, on the drive itself, where the change happens

If Im correct m.2 sata is the same as a regular sata ssd just the same size factor as an nvme

I have a B550-F and it came with a data 512GB SSD. I purchased a 1TB NVME to replace it. I installed it and set it up with a USB drive backup of my old SATA SSD. My PC will randomly reboot after a couple minutes. Do I need to do anything in the BIOS?

I have an extra nvme m.2 . Where can i install it for extra storage? Because there is no extra entry for nvme m.2. Should i buy a SATA adapter and use the SATA entry on the side? What would eb the best course of action?

how to remove that stand off for m.2? i have that stand off but it is on the left side hole.
