Thrift Store Makeover #13

Hey guys! Today is another episode from my series Thrift Store Makeovers, where I take a used, worn out item (OR sometimes from yard sales or off of ebay) clean it up, fix it up and decorate it. I love hunting through thrift stores to find old, rejected items and then decorating them and putting my own style on them to turn them into new pieces of art. I've definitely missed these thrift flips and I want to do more thrifting soon!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 27 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

“Jimmy” here, I just finished watching this video with my daughter. At the end of the video I told her that I was the person who made the original art piece. The utter face of shock she had😂. Here is some backstory to that horrendous artwork, I originally made it in 2005 at a summer camp. I believe I was around 12-13. I brought it home and hung it up on my wall. Few years pass, and I was moving out of my childhood home and going off to college. With that, I cleaned out my room and donated what I didn’t need to my closest thrift store. Now you have it!😂

Idea: Customize a dollhouse with little rooms for some of your characters :D I think it’d be really cute, maybe you could make your own neighborhood!

I don't know if this will turn into a "comment bomb ", but imagine if she designed a deck of cards with all her characters, and made an actual card game available on her store. For example, Pickle as the King of hearts, Derp as the jester, etc..
I completely understand if she doesn't end up doing it. It is simply just a suggestion.
