Parental alienation specialist Linda Gottlieb LMFT, LCSW-R talks about the things an alienator does when exposed.

Linda is internationally recognized as a parental alienation specialist. With more than 50 years of professional experience as a family therapist, Linda has helped and protected thousands of children. Linda was personally trained by child psychiatrist, Salvador Minuchin, the pre-eminent founder of the family therapy movement.

Linda’s treatment approach supports and encourages cooperation and respect with a focus on the child’s best interests. Linda recognizes that parents, not therapists, are the experts on their own children, and she therefore serves as a catalyst to parents in the healing process.

Linda began her professional career as a caseworker in New York’s foster care system in 1970, where she remained for 24 years helping over 3000 children. Over the past three decades, Linda has focused on helping conflicted parents settle their custody and parental disputes in therapy instead of in court.

Linda has testified in more than 500 adversarial custody cases and is highly regarded as an accomplished expert witness & author.
