There’s a small release leaver that has to be pulled before the door will slide. Yank all you want and it won’t move until then. She needs training. It does take some grunt and finesse tho

Widebody aircraft doors weigh close to 400 lbs with slide installed. The 1st attendant could not get the gust lock released, which keeps door from slamming back towards closed in wind. Falling out is a concern - ideally doors (on any large passenger aircraft) should not be operated without an exterior stand/platform. This is not often possible, unfortunately. Cabin crew have been seriously injured operating doors without a platform.

What surprises me is they're doing it with no safety platform. I know in the US the jetway is kept in place before a door is opened, and left there until after the aircraft door is closed. Some places use stairs but even those are kept there for safety while the door is open.
