The stewardesses could fall trying to close that difficult door.

Position of handle should be at the center of the door, so crew can access it and more Torque can be applied and u can easily close the door, I would say this is an design error for most of the manual aeroplane doors😊

بأمكانهم مجرد تثبيت حبل على الجانب الاخر من الباب و عند الرغبة في اغلاق الباب يتم جر الحبل

I used to work on a crew that maintained the interior and exterior. I was sent through several days of training on how to open and close these doors safely.

They are very difficult at times (even for a guy) to close. Once you get them started they practically close themselves.

My first day they simply said: Be careful its a long way down.

Probably a new stewardess and a seasoned veteran. Not sure I want to be on that flight though if they can't even close the door.
