I've been sleeping on Changi departure hall before, flying from Bangkok after a business meeting. But my night flight to Jakarta got cancelled, and the only flight available are on the morning at nine. I then choose to sleep on the departure hall, and the gentleman at the information are nice enough to lend me a blanket. It was a nice blanket, purple with "Changi Airport" written on it.

Then in the morning I return the blanket to the information desk. But the guy there told me I can keep it if I want to.

I still have the blanket until this day, six year have passed and it still provide me warmth...

I was waiting for my connecting flight in Changi for 6 hours at 2 AM and I was walking around looking at food and beverages’ prices. I had money but I was not hungry, I was just looking around after all.
A Malaysian auntie who was in the stall gave me a cup of hot Milo and bread saying “I understand, it is expensive here in Singapore. Just take.”
Strange but such a sweet lady.

Stayed in Singapore for my honeymoon, the airport was super efficient no more than 10 minutes from deplaning to grabbing our bags the cab ride to the hotel took longer than our entire time at the airport

I love how they immediately offer water, food, sweets to people in distress. It is the universally known fact of all who have grannies and aunties that that makes everything better, even in the most stressful situations. ❤️

Also, that's an African grey, not a macaw. ❤️

Visited Singapore 20 years ago...and that airport felt like a first class Vegas resort. It has gotten even more spectacular since then.

I remember staying at Changi for a stopover to the Philippines a couple of years ago, I didn't think much staying at an airport...until I got there. Absolutely stunning! The butterfly house, the Koi ponds and gardens...I had more fun in Changi airport than I did on my actual trip because it was so unexpected to have an airport so beautiful! Can't wait to go back and see the waterfalls! Plus there were more Filipino accents in Singapore than I expected too, so it was a good precursor for when I arrived in Manila! Definitely the highlight of my trip, and the people are so friendly and accommodating! Going out of the airport to visit the Gardens by the Bay was a highlight too ❤ Singapore, can't wait to go back! 🇸🇬

Yes, i been to Singapore before. And my father forgot his wallet on the toilet airport’s and someone return it at the counter . There are a lot of money and all our passport inside it. So thankfull. Best airport I CAN GURRREENTEE THAT!

The red hospitality team are second to none. When I missed my flight they went to no end of trouble to secure me a bed for the night and assist me in every way possible. Love them to bits. Lovely and attentive. I owe you..🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

I had a pretty serious bout of food sickness coming back from Taiwan and I was so nauseated I couldn't walk for more than 10 steps before I had to rest, as I was laying down on the floor, one of the staff passed my parents a purple Changi Airport blanket for me, and they got a wheelchair for me to make the journey from the plane to immigration a whole lot easier, props to them!

Yep one of them was me. Left a macbook pro behind while boarding my plane. Collected it just a week later when I returned from my flight :)

Proud to say some of the staffs are Filipino, I just knew because of their last names. By the way I am currently residing here in Singapore, and yes Changi Airport is the most safe, clean and best airport in the world. Been travelling to Philippines back here in Singapore and vice versa, never had a problem in our books and flights ☺️

Honestly seeing him give the pups a little cuddle before leaving them for their scary flight just warms my heart so much!
-- ohhhh good grief. I was SO had to hear the puppies were not in the system. I thought he was about to say he died. Oh the emotions.

Say whatever you want but the staff there work really hard to make every passenger and visitor have a smooth and pleasant experience. Not only that, most go above and beyond their duty. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I was in absolute awe travelling to Changi airport from New Zealand. Customer service were so friendly respectful and helpful.

fun fact: tong that “ vietnamese” kid is actualy cambodian! his brother said មាកមាក which is mommy in khmer
