Ever since ETH went to POS from POW I knew it would be over. All I see now with GPU mining is everyone just chasing a return of a new coin that has released and all those you mentioned I remember quite a few.
Because lets be honest, most will mine them and sell them for USD or BTC. I left GPU mining a few years back and have now got back into it via mini home ASICs, sticking to a couple of algos that have been around for a very long time.

Its been a massive adjustment changing the gpu mindset from the eth days and gpu mining is totally no longer passive income for sure, but its the same reason that people are down on gpu mining why im personally bullish on it. It won't make asic money thats for sure, but asics are mostly out of reach for most home miners (the large ones anyways) due to rising power costs. You are super lucky to have a shed thats capable of running asics at a lower power rate! As always great video!!!!

Got a decent gaming rig with a 3080ti 12GB for exploring the AI platforms.

During the bear market I sold half of my farm and bought very cheap used 3090s and old dell servers for AI. You shouldnt sell those 3060s, they are making good profit on salad

Alot of haters in here but it is a smart move. I have been buying 4090s and 7950x3ds the past year and doing AI. When a profitable coin pops I can use both cpu amd gpu to mine or switch back to AI.

Moving from crypto to chase inference profits is the wrong move in my book. Also spec mining was pretty much a home run on all of the coins that you mentioned not 1 in 1000. I hope it works out for you but I am doing the opposite.

I’d sell those gpus as well. About 6 months ago I sold all my gpus that weren’t 40xx series and bought cmp gpus.

not sure why gpus are junk but kaspa asics are a good buy lmao. ive lost more on kaspa asics than i ever did on gpu mining. even if i throw all 40 of my 30 series in the garabage today it would still be less than what ive lost on kaspa asics.
apparently you just mine whatever u can right now and wait for the coin to go up in price until you get your usd back and say you roi'd. even tho you could buy more coins now than you can ever mine with the machine thats being replaced every 4 months by a much more effiecient and powerful unit.
