Fall is my favorite time to plant shrubs, in fact I have about 100 shrubs to get planted in my garden over the next week. So I thought I'd take a moment to show clearly and easily how to get shrubs correctly planted. An incorrectly planted shrub will often lead to a slow death, and with the price of shrubs being relatively high, we really want to make sure we are doing so correctly.

This video is pertinent to all types of shrubs with woody stems including Hydrangea, Viburnum, Dogwood, Crape Myrtle, Lilac, and so many more. #gardening #shrubs #plants

When you have lousy soil such as sandy or clay soils you should amend with compost. I’d do and all my plantings do beautifully.

I really wish garden centers would recycle plastic pots. I see so many lying around everywhere I go .A total catastrophe for the environment as many end up as land fill .

I can't seem to find the link for woodchips. I know I'm 70, but I don't see anything for woodchips.
