I have done it like that and it definitely works. I have a plant that I had started like that and it is over a foot and a half long now. You could take 6 or 8 of them and put them in a pot and make a decent plant. It just takes some time. I like to cut larger pieces with a few leaves and nodes.I have had better luck and they seem to grow a little quicker once they are rooted.

Pothos plant can outlive you and those behind you. They never know when to give up. They are hearty

Came here because my pathos clipping had a very black tip, so I did it just like yours and now it’s time to wait. I’ll be back with an update in a few weeks

Thank you for sharing! After watching your first cuttings (Pathos plant), it gave me the boost I needed as I’ve
been contemplating on doing the exact same thing but didn’t have the confidence. I’m like. What if…?

Now done!! I could hardly wait for the little minnes to multiply. Super excited and so glad I watched your video!
Cheers!!!

This is so much fun thank you! I'm so excited to have found a new hobby that I genuinely enjoy along with fishkeeping/aquascaping and making driftwood succulent planters. I'll be using a golden pothos to wrap around my homemeade aquarium bamboo light stand that was a project in its own. Everything looks so good and ended up finding these new hobbies that stemmed from that project. It's neat looking back. My cuttings look great and cant wait to see the roots!

My photos had a pretty long length of vine where there were no leaves but it had plenty of nodes so I cut them into pieces put in soil in a plastic container and place them in a Ziploc bag I keep the soil moist and I keep it near a heat mat and lo and behold they're tiny leaves coming out of the empty stems in about a week

Love this golden Pothos! The Latin term for the plant is Epipremnum aureum (aureum meaning “gold” isn’t that neat! 💛

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! I have a question for anyone: Can I make the cuttings a little closer to the nodes?
