I just paid off the last of $15, 000 credit card debt that i transferred to a personal loan two years ago. I logged in to see the $0 balance to get that good feeling. It just said closed account. That's fine! I'll take it! My next pay period I'll have an extra $400 which will feel amazing! Tfs great video.

I truly believe it was stress that ultimately caused my husband's fatal heart attack in 2020. The first thing I did with insurance money was to pay off our car payment. Second, I refinanced from a 3.8% 30-year mortgage to a 1.99% 15-year. I have been paying extra on my principal every month, and as of this moment in January, I owe about $106, 000. I'm turning 56 in 4 days. My goal is to be debt-free in retirement. The main thing I want is peace of mind.

I really wish more debt free youtubers would make a video like this. It's encouraging and gives a good picture of what "life after being debt free" looks like.

You are so right being debtfree is an amazing feeling. Less stress is priceless. Too many people have been brainwashed into believing using credit is a good thing. Great video. 👍 keep sharing brother.

Used the GI bill for a bachelor's and an mba and no student debt. Car is paid off next month, and all my credit card debt 5k will be eliminated this month! 30 with no kid, debt, and a 70k job with rent only being 900 a month!

I'm debt free except the house. My wife and I received a check for 25 k in November form a past investment. We immediately paid off all that debt. Since then we have saved $700 for an emergency fund and 13 ounces of silver.

Ive been thinking: what would i do if i didnt have debt? How would i fill my time if i didn't owe my whole pay check to someone else, and have to work a second job just to get ahead and not be terrified by money?

Id start my own business, using yoga and coaching to help people heal from complex trauma. I would spend my time on my passions. Id throw myself deep into my spiritual practice, including having more time for spiritual community. I would raise a family and have the option to be home with my kids. I would purchase land where i can grow my own food, have lots of rooms for my kids and dogs to play.

This speaks to Maslow's hierarchy of needs. One cannot reach self actualization when they are struggling to meet basic needs of food, shelter, safety. This was a cool thought experiment, and it's motivating me to kick ass and make it happen.
