I’ve watched a lot of videos installing Arch. This is the best one yet. Very simple.

Brilliant, clear, easy to follow, with a lot of pausing the video to type in the commands... Very happy

Forget about Etcher go with Ventoy it's dope ;) Just copy your ISO's onto a Ventoy prepared pendrive, you can have a lot of ISO's at once! Even Windows.

Hello. I wanted to add several things:
08:36 - it is not a grub menu. It is systemd-boot menu.
12:09 - actually, you could already know in which mode you have booted, because you saw systemd-boot menu. If you boot in Legacy mode, you see a syslinux menu (the one with Arch Linux background image).
15:13 - separating home is useful, so it is strange to hear that you do not recommend that.
36:30 - you better use visudo instead of directly editing a file to avoid errors

Tried to install Arch last time spending one hour, but got GNOME along with a lot of games even if entered commands to install KDE. Didn't know how this could have happened. Before the installation, I had used Manjaro for over two years. All of a sudden, I was out of Ethernet connection but got wireless. Tried openSUSE the Ethernet was good, then switched to openSUSE.

Dear teacher,
Could you tell me why this function no longer appears in the new versions on archlinux.
In dolphin, network had a very useful function which was to add network folder (ftp, sftp, webdav)
It just doesn't show up anymore, could you confirm?

Great video. One thing missing by the end (on my attempt) was no file manager. Had to add dolphin via terminal. Discover doesn't work, as it complains about "no application back-ends found", so perhaps those could be included in the package list during the install steps?

Hey, thank you so much for your video. Your explanations are very helpful throughout the complete installation. However, could you please tell me the difference between the "sudo systemctl reboot" and the normal "reboot" command itself? What if I just use "umount -R /mnt" and then "reboot", I mean, does it make a difference? And, should I use the "umount" command before reboot in your case (after the "sync" command)? Thanks in advance!
