People who don’t know it’s a movie and book called series of unfortunate events and in the first book / season her parents died and he was the carer who wanted their money (they were rich) so he said to her that they could do a roleplay pretending to be married but they would really get married then she found out and he ran away getting wanted.. now he is still out there killing people to get her money !!
