4.4-magnitude earthquake shakes Los Angeles County

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake rocked the LA area just after noon on Monday, with an epicenter about 2.5 miles south of Highland Park, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake comes after another recent quake in the Bakersfield, California area.

I was in San Diego when they had a 5.2-5.5 quake and I ran to the sliding door and got it open enough for me and my three year old grandson to get on the balcony. I said if it was going to drop down it was only one level than to go out the door with stairs in the middle of the building. At least I could jump down with him in my arms. This quake in LA was like a large slippage of rock not a slide like most.

I had a dream July 22 of a major earthquake in ca . It was bigger than we have ever had. After that dream these earthquakes have been happening. I still have the text I sent my friend on July 22 about my dream.

4.4 is weak. Based on the video, it looks more than 4.4. maybe 5. But anything under 5.0 magnitude is nothing. Imagine double of that. Japan got hit 9.0-9.1 back in March 2011 and killed more than 19, 000 peoples. Still missing more than 2, 500 people. There were worst than Japan one which was back in December of 2004 in Indonesia. That was 9.2-9.3 and killed over 227, 000 people. 4.4 is nothing to be panic so don't worry.
