I didn't see anyone get destroyed. John Mayer is like the dude who makes Music books and CD's for people to learn from. He perfectly copied like the ZZ top style while Slash was trying to do Slash stuff. I think Slash is pretty difficult to copy. He uses the flamenco arabic scale well in his solos. He throws in country steel guitar licks. John Mayer sounds like whoever he is copying. And he has difficult chord fingerings on acoustic guitars. But the songs will be simple. It's the worst arrangement possible of a simple song. I think he did that just so he didn't need to copyright his music and he could make his backup performer suffer. He's just trying to make AC/DC's guitarist, Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist feel inadequate about his hand size.
