There are similarities about Mexican and Filipino moms, such as yelling at us when we get sick. Most of them tiktok vids I can relate to. Maybe because of the Mexican Galleon and Spanish Colonization in our country, that's why our parents are so strict.

My parents are both from Mexico & I grew up with all the strict norms in our culture one thing I’m changing in my own family with my kids whether they are a boy or girl they will both learn how to cook & clean for themselves, my son is 3 and he helps me with laundry he loves to be my helper. My mom does everything for my oldest brother to this day. That’s not right.
