Exactly doing tricks is just a bonus and not necessary as long as your moving and being consistent your gold.

Completely agree with this, however, learning tricks does make it a lot more fun and the satisfaction you get when you finally nail those tricks feels so good.

Stick to the BASICS and "Regular Bounce" is the Basic.😊❤

This is so true! I stopped going to the gym and got into the best shape of my life just by doing jump rope+pull ups+dips at home. The basics always work!

I do regular bounce all the time! maybe too much! but when I start trying to do boxing skipping and other things then I realize Im wasting too much time and effort getting the technique right of those things when all I want is just doing my 20-30 min of cardio and then do my lifting... so I go back to just regular bounce, which as mentioned does the job perfectly fine!

This is why jump rope dude is the biggest subscribers among the other jump rope channels. Its so related to many people out there. Simply the best. Not complicated at all❤

True!
But, once you do it enough, you'll get bored and NEED to try a different step or trick.

Plus, mastering different moves is what gives you the full benefit of jump roping: Coordination.

You will get bored quickly in Simple basic bounce by doing tricks u can skip Ex - I know 20 single under moves and 18 varities of Double under do every variety for 1 min with 30 sec rest, means total of 1 hour by doing tricks I don't even know how an hour thanks to Rush athletics

I don’t know why but on regular bounce I get tired faster than on other drills 🤷🏻

I have been jumping rope 30 mins a day again to get my lymphatic system moving. My skin looks glowy again and i lost 10lbs, wasnt even trying to lose weight. Definitely works for weightloss.

I can't even do the simple crossover thing you all do at the beginning before you start jumping lol

Amen to that, Im trying to do it after looong time and with added 20kg extra weight.. i get crushed after 2.5 mins.
I remember in one of the videos you mentioned to start slow in the first few weeks, like 3x per week 3-5 mins each, but I can’t even get to that.
And I can’t really learn anything except for bounce.. i watched tons of videos yours included but can’t seem to even attempt those ‘tricks’ :(

What weight of rope do you recommend for a beginner like myself?

Também concordo....outros truques são apenas para sair da rotina....

I can't wait to just get my feet off the ground again. LOL.

I bought a new jump rope last week, not knowing that my feet are glued to the floor. Working on it.
