Please don't mix socialism and what Trump is doing...Yes, systems that include socialist aspects usually are in favour of helping each other through difficult times even if it means receiving/giving help/money from the government. However, that help is only meant as a temporary fix during a temporary crisis while a real solution is on the way. Trump created the crisis on his own and I'm far from being convinced that he'll manage to fix it.
