What Dr Fauci actually said versus how Trump used clip in campaign ad

Dr Anthony Fauci, the top US infectious disease expert, has criticised Donald Trump’s re-election campaign for using his words out of context to make it appear as if he was praising the president’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. In the video released on Saturday, Fauci can be heard saying: 'I can’t imagine that … anyone could be doing more' as the advert boasts of Trump’s response to Covid-19, which in the US has killed more than 214,000 and infected more than 7.7m. The clip came from an interview Fauci gave to Fox News, in which he was describing the work that he and other members of the White House coronavirus task force undertook to respond to the virus

The main issue with how the Trump campaign is using the quotation is how out of date it is. He is specifically talking about the work of the task force back in March. He has commented numerous times since that the task force do not have as many meetings and the focus has shifted away from public health and to the economy. I therefore think Fauci is correct in saying his words have been taken out of context. The quotation is clearly not representative of his view of the administration's response to COVID in recent months

What's wrong using his video to reassure people that, the government is acting upon the advice given by the 'Health Experts' and extent of their work.

So levin asked Fauci if he as ever seen an Administration coordinate any better that Trumps for such an emergency. The ad wasn’t taken out of context. Fauci say in a long winded response that everyone in the administration was working hard. How is this taken out of context
