Sign Donald Trump will defeat Kamala Harris in US election

Donald Trump may have already won the election, at least according to the stock market.

Investor Stanley Druckenmiller says the market is very convinced Trump is going to win, pointing to rising bank stocks, the surge in crypto and Trump’s own social media company as evidence.

Both the stock market and Bitcoin have seen significant gains this past month, which suggests investors are anticipating a Trump win.

This is partly because a Republican sweep would likely see increased deregulation, which would be better for the markets.

If Kamala Harris and the Democrats were to win, Druckenmiller says the impact on the markets would be negative, with higher taxes, lower business confidence and no change in regulations potentially spelling trouble for equities.

Recent polling seems to support the stock market trends, with Trump and Harris tied in those crucial swing states.
