Hope you all find this useful and FUN (Maybe a bit ASMR?) I’m just a DIY dad enjoying production and giving back- not a big channel (YET!), but I pour a lot of effort into attempting quality videos. Your support means the world - PLEASE consider sharing! ⚙

I did the same but used drip edge. 2 years later it’s holding up great, wish I had the Govee brackets back then. Great job but you’re using that ladder in a dangerous way, you’re putting the weight at the top, weight should always be pushing down where the feet hit the ground. Use the 4/1 rule. Divide the length the ladder is extended to by 4 and that’s how far from the wall the bottom should be. If your ladder is 16’, the bottom should be 4’ away from the wall it’s against. Just trying to look out.

Looks great. Just curious, what was the final distance of your lights from the wall surface?

First off excellent job👍… I have a quick question, I just bought the Govee RGBIC, but in its description, it says I “cannot“ cut the wires and can only be done every 16.4 feet which is exactly how long each strand is, can’t I just simply cut the wires where I want and replace them together especially since I have eaves that don’t line up and would just splice into the extension that comes with it, plus just cut off the lights where I need them to be like what you did in the video… any help would be appreciated
