I think you installing them further away from the house makes them look better. It really washes more area and lights the house up evenly and nicely

I have always been a fan of Govee Lighting! They appear to be superior to their competitors and at a more affordable price point. However, these lights do not appear to adhere to Govee's pricing structure. Also, before installing smart lights, always plug them in and connect to WiFi first to save time.

Does the power/control box have to go on one of the ends or can it go between the strands like a T junction? My outdoor plug is mid house unfortunately.

You installed them pretty much at the same spot I would have to (9 inches). They look good to and wash the walls in the front.

Where do you plug into the outdoor power? Do you drill through to the attic, or do you use an outdoor outlet that is on the exterior of the home?

Nice video but how do you add multiple scenes into one operation function to run for 6 hours say 6pm to midnight. Example to start with scene Moonlight then Star then Universe then Forest then Fire then Aurora then Wave and then to re loop the scenes in that order for a few hours. In a continues cycle with out powering off on off on.

Can you make custom scenes with the app? Like make your own color patterns and stuff? Turn off lights in between to give it more of a mood light feel?

Man these lights look amazing. nice demo and setup. the only thing holding me back is the price. it it was $349.00 for the 5OFt. but 449.00 is a tab steep imo. I'm going to wait until black Friday sales & Christmas sales.
