Are The SAS The Best Special Forces Unit?

As an American whenever someone mentions special forces British SAS is the first one that comes to mind so yea I feel they’re the best

Whilst on deployment together the Navy Seal's put a sign over their door saying "Second To None". One of the SAS guy's saw this and put a sign up over the SAS` door that read "None" 😂

It is widely known that the SEALS and other US Special Forces, often approach the SAS for advice for their operations and in some instances, training. The SAS don't seek out the advice of other units, they make the doctrine others follow.

Fun fact: 6-8 SAS soldiers were deployed in Iraq during gulf wars for some extreme mission but because they were not prepared with the weather and lack of data of their mission only 1 soldier were able to get back from it by the way those unprepared 6-8 soldiers killed upto 650+ Iraqi soldiers 😮

They are highly trained soldiers, who think on the go and have a great tradition to keep up, as an Irishman I was always amazed how the Ira tried to go at them, it was suicide missions, I suppose all you can say is they are stuff of legend

One of my patient was a SAS I said to him so you must be one of the best in your teama he said " I'm only best when I carried out the mission correctly... I only value myself when the mission is successful..

Why do they always compare seals to SAS, they should compare delta to to SAS due to Delta being modeled originally after SAS.

The British also have the SBS or special boat service for naval or water based special operations meanwhile the SAS is for land based operations so simply the SAS is for the army and SBS is for the navy
