SAS Who Dares Wins instructor reveals BEEF with Ant Middleton 👀

SAS Who Dares Wins instructor Rudy Reyes opens up on his public falling out with former host, Ant Middleton.

Middleton was replaced as a DS on the hit Channel 4 reality show by Reyes before their war of words emerged in the media.

Rudy’s book, Hero Living: Seven Strides to Awaken Your Infinite Power, is out October 12th (Quercus, £20).

Blame the producers. They select who they want. Ant was the reason most people watched the show to start with. Don’t know why he got sacked. Pity.

I'll just say this. I am a US Army SOF vet. Recon is not on the same level as SAS/SBS not even close. That being said, they are hard dudes that fought well in some of the most dangerous places in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rudy particularly was on some hot deployments. So experience here counts as far as the Rudy vs Ant thing is concerned. As far as the show itself is concerned regardless of what Billy said to Rudy in my opinion the show should ONLY be SAS guys or change the name. It's weird and cringe to keep riding the SAS brand while using random guys from other units. Either call the show Special Forces Selection or something else.

It was very disrespectful to the SAS/SBS guys that they brought this guy in who wasn't tier 1 to be the new Head DS. Billy or Jason really should have been made the leader.

It's SAS who dares wins.... show went to shit the moment channel 4 thought it would be a good idea to bring the Americans on board. Show called SAS and the guy leading it has never been SAS or went through the selection 🤦‍♂️

The show had never been same since C4 got rid of Ant and made the series like a big brother face instead of something serious. Blame the C4 clown decision makers.

Good for Rudy getting the job after a long military career, and he knows which of the British operators is the best in these shows - It’s Billy Billingham. Ant spent a few years in the SBS and I think reached Corporal. Billy spent nearly *30 YEARS* in 22 SAS and became its most senior warrant officer (Regimental Sergeant Major ie someone you really don’t mess with) - he wasn’t just an operator, he was in charge of hundreds of operators. There are levels here.
