The bard performs music
The Dancer performs dances
And the Machinist who preforms crimes

Don’t forget: it is your sacred duty as a Phys Ranged DPS to stand as far away from the healer as humanly possible for no reason. That way when they try to AoE heal, they will also have to give you your own separate special band-aid as they grumble and secretly wish they could reassemble drill your ass into oblivion. Bonus points if you’re so far away that the healer can’t even use any heals on you.

Don't forget how Dancer AOEs have four different patterns requiring you to move around like a maniac to hit everything during your combo. Point Blank circle, targeted circle, cone, and line. Can't wait for 7.0 to give us a donut AOE.

One thing I genuinely like about the Ranged DPS is that you feel like a dancer, engineer or bard in terms of pressing buttons.
Bard like playing music, has a steady beat your cycle through like a time signature, with flashes of flair based on your procs. While dancer is like going full improvised dancer, going as the "passion" does, and follow the flow, rather then adhering to a ridged machine format like the Machinist does. Where every tool is made to be used at a specific time in a specific sequence (in a good way).

Playing dancer really is just doing all the spinnies in the world and watching your new best friend and temporary life partner dps #1 do the thing you should be doing while you aggressively flip coins in the background hoping for those sweet sweet fourfolds. I love it so much.
