Fitbit Charge 5: How to Turn Screen Wake ON/OFF (Screen Not Turning on When Twisting Wrist?)

I show you how to turn the screen wake on and off on the Fitbit Charge 5. When the screen wake is on (auto) then every time you flick, flip, twist or turn your wrist towards you it should turn on. Note that the screen wake feature is off when you have it on manual. Hope this helps.

My charge 5will not change off manual screen awake

I am having this issue and your fix is the typical way I would go. However, now the screen wake mode is greyed out instead of blue and I cant change it at all. Any ideas?

Only thing about the ‘Auto’ setting is that it chews through your battery when it comes on inadvertently.
