What Will Happen In Dune Part 3 #Dune2 #Ending #Explained

The ending of Dune: Part Two leads straight into the story of the second book, Dune Messiah, which would serve as the basis of a third film in a proposed trilogy.

I'm just so unsure of how there can be a Dune Messiah adaptation when Chani is so estranged to Paul in the film version. Chani and Paul's shared love for each other is such an important part of Messiah. How will they have their children if she hates him in the film version?

People all mad about Chani even though Paul said he has foreseen her coming around and Dune Messiah is far enough in the future that we could see a very different character than the one we left off on. Also, if she was already pregnant that could have some influence on her decision. Maybe she’s already conceived the twins with Paul, but doesn’t know it yet?

Everyone’s crying about Chani being her own character and not just a concubine, ignoring the part where Paul’s first son has already been born and died at this stage in the book, and Alia is already a reverend mother in a toddlers body. There’s already been massive changes, and they’ve been great. I trust in Dennis completely to capture the essence of the story while delivering a satisfying cinema experience

I just want to see the guild navigators and the their massive transporter ships, they are the most important part of dune universe, the whold point of spice production is because of them, so far it was completely ignored in both films, only respected in the original 1984 version...

I think that if they make a third dune film it should take place immediately after the second film and end with Paul's ascendancy. This would be a nice way to round it off as a trilogy if they decide not to explore further into the universe and it also makes a more satisfying continuation given that this is a movie and not a book

I was impressed with part 2. I've watched it 3 times this week on Prime. It's 3 times better than the first film imo.

I trust Dennis as he's shown to be an incredible film maker, I think though he may have risked a significant amount given he's not quite finished the 1st Dune book or gone for a different ending. Story wise it's incredible.

Part 3 is going to be really weird with Paul basically being Space Hitler. Theres even a scene in Messiah where he compares himself to him.

Its ironic that Dune 2 made all the right subtle tweaks to the plot and characterization but it might mean that Dune 3, if made, will have to be more radically different from messiah

I was pissed about the whole
Chain situation.
First I was angry that she was so mad at him for what he had to do even though she was witness to all the fulfilled prophecy’s even her being part of them bringing him back to life. Then she gets angry after he takes power and then Paul accepts the emperors daughter’s hand making the whole situation that much worse.

I just watched the second part and clearly u guys aren’t smart enough to understand Paul is manipulating them. He told Chani as long as I breathe I will love u. Then asks for Irulan hand in marriage. I think it’s more there than what we see. This will be great storytelling for part 3 of Dune. The only thing I don’t like about it was the fact him doing what he did wasn’t genuine. His mother played too much of a part in his decisions. Then he became a person that wasn’t as humble as before. Hopefully they can fix it with the next movie and have him with Chani and allow his sister to play a role in it
