We just came back from a double feature of Part 1 and 2.

Honestly, there is ENTIRELY too much fiction in Dune part 1 for a recap to be enough before seeing part 2.

Just the names of the factions is enough to memorise, then there's the different names given to Paul, the equipment and vehicles, the locations in Arrakis.

It's a lot.

Okay I felt badly that I didn’t see part one and I’m literally in a theater seat as I type this waiting to see part two, but from reading the other comments, it sounds like I wouldn’t have understood what was going on whether I saw the first movie or not lol
