Which way do you guys swing?
Has every Gay person been Left In The Dark?
Who else has been left in the dark? Or who is a lefty in the dark?
To be, or not to be -- that is the question! Does being too left sometimes pose it's own dilemmas and predicaments? I'm assuming that most people who follow me, are for the most part, left -- so do you sometimes find yourselves sat left to the middle at occasions?
When it comes to Gay rights or human rights issues in general, do you often find yourself being too left and subsequently standing up for people (minorities) who are very much against Gay people like us?
My moto has always been -- accept others for what they are inside, not what's on the surface. At times that's trying!

I remember one night at a lesbian/feminist gay brainstorming session in the late 1980s in which I was the only man invited, that I went on a rant far too radical for them (especially the militant feminists) about the general inability of people, gay or strate, to make the leap outside all categories of thinking about people collectively and failing to take them as individuals on their own merits. That didn't go over well. (Of course I was drunk, and like Psalm 39 says, "I held my tongue and then I spake." So spake I did.) Looks like it's going to be another year of voting Libertarian for me. There will always be people who deliberately manipulate any system of thought or spiritual experience to their own secular advantage and ignore the plain (albeit subtle) meanings of their particular faith's scriptures. (yes, I've read the Koran, etc.; also the Bible five+ times, etc. plus extensive commentaries in the early Church Fathers) (well, you know that). As to your lead in remarks in your comments on the video -- yes, of course, many times I defend the religious choice of people who do not wish to provide venues for gay weddings, etc. Now admittedly, we have the 1st Amendment to our written constitution here in the US and the legal issue is one of what constitutes "public accommodation" under the various Civil Rights Acts. I think they are being foolish and biting off their noses to spite their face, but still.... I think it's their legitimate choice. I've often said that, if political belief is plotted on a large arc that almost closes as a circle -- I'd be so far right that I'd bump on the end of the right side of the arc and so far left -- ditto -- and that they'd have to put in a little dot (sort of like the bead in a captive bead nipple ring) to close the circle and include me.
