I got top surgery before I came out to my dad, and when I finally dumped it on his that I was trans and got my tits removed, he no joke said “Well, that must a HUGE weight of ur chest.” And my honest reaction was 😑

This certainly wasn't the reaction my Asian mother had for me when I came out. Please cherish your mom always, I know firsthand this type of love and acceptance makes a difference.

I read somewhere where someone(don't know if it was a guy or a girl) who was 25 I think came out to their mom a few weeks after they figured it out and the mom's reaction was "pls don't tell me that you just figured it out" 😂😂😂

What a great mother. My mom... And dad... Oh they knew according to family friends... But when I came out I basically was temporarily disowned. We are a happyish family again but the trauma from telling them and the crying and making puking noises they did.... I can never forget.
