for absolute best results turn off any TSAA, TAA, SMAA anti-aliasing options as this will blur the image when using integer scaling, use MSAA or no AA at all imo :)

integer scaling gives back 4 or 9 pixels for the one you send to your screen which means for 1440p screens you SHOULD use 720p res. and for 4K screens you SHOULD use 1080p res.
that means that you dont need sharpening filters cause the target resolution is always x4 times the rendered resolution, and thats enough. Its a good way for your strong 1080p pc build to display the image to 4K monitors/TVs.

You don't need integer scaling if your desktop/monitor resolution matches the resolution you put in the games
Better putting the desktop resolution in 720p instead of risking having black bars

So to be clear to get an fps boost with my 4k monitor, I would set in nvidia cp/under adjust desktop size and :Resolution 3840x2160 and under Native Resolution: 3840x2160 then in game run the game at 1920x1080 ??? Am I missing something fundamental here ??? Or do I set :Resolution to 1920x1080 and :Native Resolution would be 3840x2160? Thank-You for some clarity please

So am I better off using RSR or going to global display and enabling GPU scaling, and integer scaling, or is it the same thing? I notice those become enabled when RSR is active. It seems you can enable and adjust Radeon image sharpening when you just enable GPU scaling and integer scaling but it can’t be adjusted when you use RSR… so which is better to use?
