The 4090 is great if you want 16 FPS Native in cyberpunk @4k with RT on.

Just paired a 7800x3d with a 7800xt.. would've liked more GPU but the price difference between ryzen 7 7600 and 7800x3d is only $170 Canadian.. the difference between 7800xt and 7900xt is $600 and 4070ti is $500 more..

if anyone lives near a Microcenter, they have a deal with the 7800X3d, MB, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM for $499.

Nice video. And I agree. I have the 7800x3d with a 7900xt. No bottleneck problems and runs very smooth 😎

I'm excited. Got a merc 310 7900xtx and a 7800x3d for my upcoming build. I was going to use a 7700x, but the high frame rate of the 7800 can't be beat, especially when it uses less watts doing it!

I got a good deal on the 6800xt, and have saved enough to buy the 7800x3d. I know that my cpu will be more powerful than necessary, but the cost of ownership as well as future proofing of it is just too appealing.

7800x3d + 7900 xtx Sapphire Nitro plus = winning.

I don’t understand why people are against having a stronger CPU. The price jump from the 7700 to the 7800X3D is a little over $100 normally and like $80 at the current prices.

The jump from the 7800 xt to the 7900 XT is $300.

The jump from the 4070 to the 4070 Ti is $200.

May as well get the better CPU and leave headroom for future upgrades when the prices are that close.

I bought the 5600x for my 3060Ti and regret it. Now I’m having to upgrade my CPU as well as my GPU whereas if I just went with the 5800x3d from jump I could have stuck with it.

Same with the “sweet spot” for ram. First it was 8gb, then 16gb, now it’s getting to be 32gb.

Component requirements will always creep upwards and the standard today will be obsolete tomorrow.

Unless you truly can’t afford it go with the upper mid range 800 class components and then you won’t have to upgrade anything for at least 2-3 years.

Me pairing 7800X3D with a 2080 to play rust and tarkov (Cpu intensive games) as long as you have a decent card, a further upgrade wouldnt increase your fps by a big margin

As a relative newcomer to pc upgrading you have been my source of truth for the parts I’ve picked this holiday season for my transition into 1440. Grabbed a 3800x 3D for my am4 mobo, 3600 32g kit and a 7800xt on Black Friday. The Acer 180hz 1440 monitor you recommended is getting here Saturday and the transition will be complete. Can’t thank you enough for all the work you do man.

I just upgrade it to 7800x3d with x670e-e and my old 3070ti and it's a satisfied combo. In the future, I need to upgrade my GPU. And everything perfect!
