HOW TO STOP YOUR BRAIN SHRINKING/ALZHEIMER’S PREVENTION
Your brain is shrinking, costing you memories and mental sharpness. Brain shrinkage is closely related to symptoms of ageing, including mental decline, cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, and even poor sleep habits. You may be able to prevent brain shrinkage by adopting healthy lifestyle habits that boost your brain’s vulnerabilities. For example, lowering blood pressure, lowering your blood sugar, improving sleep can help to stop brain shrinkage and improve your chances for a long, mentally fit life.

This was very informative. I was in a car accident and so I got a CAT scan because I am on anticoagulant. The brain CAT scan report stated "mild, generalized volume loss, " but nobody said anything to me at the time. I just read it, today, only because I had to secure a copy of the report to send to the car insurance company of the kid that rammed into me. Shouldn't the ER doctor have said something that day? I was in-between primary docs. I am 64, male, morbidly obese, apnea, with a recent pacemaker. I will be seeing my new primary this week. Is this verbiage, "mild, generalized volume loss, " always mean great trouble ahead? In scared.

Thank you for your sharing your knowledge. Such enjoyable videos to learn.

Can you do something on neuroplasticity after stroke? How to ignite neuroplasticity and if you can recover some years later? Is there a limit?

Thank you again!

My mother is suffering from Sca type 2, cerebral atrophy. She was very proactive till 46 yrs, used to take care of each and every thing. But now she is loosing her balance, voice, memory, eye power, hearing rapidly. It just took 2-3 years for the whole transformation.
I have taken her to the best doctors, hospital, medication, but nothing is working. Day by day health is detroiting. Can you suggest some methods, medicine so that we can atleast control it. Because of this, my job and career suffered. Iam not able to focus on things. Life is becoming tough.
