Choosing Gold or Military Shematics: Secrets Revealed | Fallout 76 Wastelanders Secrets Revealed

During the Final mission (secrets revealed) of Fallout 76 Wastelanders DLC on talking to AC you get the option to choose between keeping the gold or trading it for Advanced Military Schematics. This choice is inconsequential, because either way you can trade your gold bullions for Military Schematics from Regs at Vault 79. On choosing the Military Schematics gold bars are not automatically deducted. So, nothing to worry about.

What weapon schematics do you receive if you give the gold bullions to the Secret Service?
The answer is none. The gold is not automatically deducted and you need to trade with regs to get schematics.

That's a load off my mind, I was worried because I was thinking 'wait, I thought the whole reason I was here was to get the gold for Foundation to start a new money system so if I give the agents the gold do I just fail that questline?' I really wish these flavor options that do nothing would at least clue us in. Or better yet, after he explains why they want the gold, why isn't there an option to say 'Hey, that's exactly what we were thinking and wanting this gold for, lets work together!'

Okay, so I did the thing. I agreed to give 250 to the settlers and 250 to the raiders. Do they get that automatically or do I need to talk to someone? I went back to crater and Meg didn't want to talk to me. I'm neutral with both parties.

So the "keep the gold" isn't even really a thing since you won't lose any anyway

I see: so giving the gold away can still mean both sides win, if you get more for the Foundation

Now with the foundation i got the stealth armour blueprints what do you get for siding with the raiders

If you give the good to them then the old government who has no idea how to survive the waste gets power if you give it to foundation then you give that power to the people who’ve lived through the wastelands for years
