One thing we LOVED son our last cruise was that some parents let their kids open and slam and open and slam and open and slam again and again the door to their cabin. It’s obviously so much fun so maybe a new cruiser should try doing that themselves or let their kids so it 😊

Make sure if you have any complaints about the cruise make sure you save them for the Captain's toast and/or picture. That is the best place to get your complaint addressed. Make sure when eating from the buffet you check each piece of bread before you pick one, you want to make sure you get the freshest piece. When getting on the elevator, make sure you stand right next to the door so you can be the first person on the elevator.

The elevators are designed to hold infinite people so just cram yourself into the elevator no matter how full it is. Also, if your not sure of what floor you want, just hit all the floors.

Best way ever to announce to your neighbors you are back: I agree, is to slam slam slam every door in your cabin coming and going.

Airconditioning never works well on a ship, so just open the cabin door and balcony door to get airflow. Laundry is always expensive so BYO clothes line and string it up on the balcony. Detergent in the toilet is an effective way to clean your clothes. 2 or 3 flushes normally does the trick.
If the buffet line is too long, try going in the opposite direction where there's no queue. Socialising is very important. Telling everyone in a loud voice you'll never do this cruise again is a great ice breaker.

Don't forget to mention that utensils are optional at the buffet. Using one's hands to select food is common.

Another good one is airing out your dirty laundry at a table full of strangers. Nothing breaks the ice like talking about how much you hate your spouse/friends/kids like while getting more and more drunk. Ah good times!
