Tried this a few days ago, I barely noticed it in the car I drove. It seems its gotten better with OTA updates, because for me it only held power for maximum of half a second.

Read in a magazine test drive the very simple explanation of that :
Electric motor uses the second and forth gear... It starts in 2, and at 95km/h it changes from 2 to 4, thus the little gap...
I noticed it during my tests drives, but absolutely not a deal breaker for me... Similar behavior exists in other PHEV. So it's not a bug.

Its now November 2023 and I am renting a lynx & co car from Alicante airport in Spain for 10 days, I notice you said DCT ( duel clutch transmission which a lot of car makers have now ditched and gone back to the more reliable TORQUE CONVERTER gearboxes, so is the latest Lynx & co DCT or TC. I have what seems like a fault on my rented Lynx 01 which I am due to return today after driving from Benidorm back to Alicante. The fault is UNABLE TO SELECT CRUISE CONTROL. I have learnt how to navigate the SETTINGS MENU etc and the cruise operation switch ie left button / middle / then up to increase speed etc. but the SPEED LIMITER word is DISPLAYED all the time and I know that is the reason the cruise won’t work. I CANNOT FIND HOW TO SWITCH OFF SPEED LIMITER in SETTINGS I can change to ADAPTED SPEED LIMITER etc but cannot switch off SPEED LIMITER. So please let me know urgently today how to get cruise control working again so we do not miss our flight back to London tonight. PS: We rented another Lynx & co car in March this year without any faults at all.

I experienced it for the first time yesterday and it was a little bit terrifying to be honest. I was merging onto the highway and it’s so noticeable that my first thought was that car had shut down! 😳

Hi, is power loss also present in hybrid and power mode or only in pure mode?

It’s a feature and not an issue. I read about it, don’t know anymore why they do this, but it’s not a bug.

Also Lynk & Co 01: same issue more or less around the same speed.

But the most terrifying I had: one night it was too cold (-2/-5°C), I went for dinner the car parked outside, when I came back about 4 hours later, it was impossible to start it. I had to leave it there, and get dropped home. Then went back in the morning after the sun was up for a few hours, the car started again.

Neither the electric nor thermal engine would start. There was power and enough battery but no function was responsive, like a safety blockage from the computer.

I am thankful I was not using this car somewhere in the mountain alone in colder weather with no cell coverage. I would be most likely dead from hypothermia...

I'll do some more tests and buy a car if this keeps repeating when cold. This is really dangerous.

Anybody else experienced the same issue?

I do not see this in the instrumentation you show in your video. It would have been much, much better had you shown the tachometer.

It have to do a two step.gear shift, first second to thrrid than thrid to fourth gear, until that time you have power again

No renting function activated, buggy software and now also this. It's unacceptable and the early adopters who decided to become the beta tester for free for this company should at least ask some compensation! Is this also with the PHEV version or is it just with the Hybrid?
