Toyota camry 2013 hybrid. I had a oil leak from oil seal of gearbox driveshaft. I have change the seal but its still leaking. And its not leaking from the seal its leaking from the shaft where its goes in the gearbox. Also when accelerating or braking hearing noise or knocking 3 times

Lol usually if you think it's bad you should just replace it. The time you begin to wonder about it is a good time honestly. Better safe than sorry. Can't even begin to say how many vehicles I've seen on the side of the road with a driveshaft issue. Replace it and be worry free for another 10 plus years.

Question I have a 04 Jeep Liberty 3.7 L automatic 4x4 that vibrates at 35 mph only I believe personally it's the U-joints but I'm not a mechanic that's just from doing research and also get a clunking sound when I switch from Park to reverse man I just about had it with this car

You mentioned squeaking. Would a bad drive shaft cause a squeaking when gently accelerating and maintaining speed? But when I switch to neutral while moving and stepping on the gas pedal gently, there’s no noise. I’m suspecting a worn transmission mount, may include engine mounts.

Would I have a problem with the tail shaft or drive shaft if I have vibration between 50 and 60 km after I get to that speed then stop accelerating the transmission changes gear again then starts but when I accelerate the auto go back a gear and start speeding up and stops vibrating also now and then when I put it in drive and as it changes gears it changes hard and not smooth but it’s not the transmission cause just got it replaced but hasn’t fixed the problem and thinking it’s eaither tail or drive shaft but thought to ask I own a 2007 ve commodore

I had a new Dorman steel Driveshaft put in my Ford Crown Victoria, when I go over 70mph. I feel a vibrations under my feet. The mechanic at my Ford dealership said because my old Driveshaft was aluminum (lighter) the new steel (heavy) driveshaft will do this. Is this normal and true what the Ford mechanic told me?
